LOOK KEO Carbon Blade
POSITIVE CLEAT ENGAGEMENT AND DISENGAGEMENT
The new concept of the Keo Blade Carbon Ti is based on a carbon blade spring, which provides a 30% higher linear spring tension feel than the 2009 Keo Carbon. The result is a more positive spring rate feeling, allowing a more distinct entry and release. These advantages make the pedal very secure, allowing the removal of the spring tension adjustment. However to satisfy all cyclists, 2 different spring tension blades are available for the Keo Blade Ti: 12Nm, which will suit most cyclists, and 16Nm for racers seeking even higher tension.
Speedplay ZERO
The performance features of the Speedplay Zero Pedal System read like a pro racer’s wish list. No other pedal system comes close to offering the superior adjustability or cutting-edge performance features of the Zero. By thinking "outside the box", we created and patented the most technically advanced pedal system ever, featuring your choice of either a fixed position or up to 15 degrees of micro-adjustable float.
Shimano Carbon 2011 Dura Ace PD-7900 SPD-SL Pedals
Shimano has addressed the one major complaint with its previous Dura-Ace pedals with the introduction of the latest PD-7900 model. By swapping in a carbon composite body – but retaining everything that was already so good – they’ve been able to shave off about 30g for a more competitive 250g actual weight per pair (plus 75g for cleats and hardware). They’re as surefooted, solid and bombproof as ever but now a little lighter on the scale. Read more on the Shimano pedal here on cyclingnews.com.
